Play Club: Exit Strategy

The library is hosting a play club of Exit Strategy, in conjunction with Forward Theater. It's fun and easy to take part: just sign up at the Check Out Desk at our library, check out a script and read the discussion questions, and then join us for the discussion on January 9th! The conversation will be led by a Forward Theater Company artist, and scenes from the play will be read aloud by Forward Theater actors. Exit Strategy by Ike Holter is, "a timely (and often funny) play about a closing school in a crumbling neighborhood and "what's next" for the surrounding community. There will be four Play Club events for each show, hosted at various libraries around Dane County. Forward Theater Play Clubs in the Library are a part of the From Page to Stage program, which is possible thanks to Beyond the Page, Madison Community Foundation, Dane Arts Commission and the Wisconsin Humanities Council. Exit Strategy is part of Forward Theater's 2017-2018 What's Next? Season. This play will run from January 18 - February 4, 2018 at the Overture Center in Madison, WI.
