The afternoon will include live music from local artists Mal-O-Dua and The Cajun Strangers\, local food carts from the Lets Eat Out! food cart coalition\, a silent auction\, raffle\, live horse demonstration and other festive family activities. \n\n\n\nThe event will raise funds to allow Three Gaits to provide and facilitate the life-changing equine-assisted activities that make our programs so unique. Specifically\, the funds raised will help to support and sustain our programs\, student scholarships\, facilities and of course\, our horses. \n\n\n\nIf you are unable to make the event\, but would like to donate to Three Gaits and our mission please visit 3gaits.org.\n\n\n\n\n\nA little bit about our musical guests: \n\n\n\nMal-O-Dua\, a Wisconsin based group\, pulls from a wide range of sources including Gypsy Jazz\, traditional Hawaiian music\, Kentucky thumb picking\, vintage French pop\, Eastern European Folk\, and the American standard songbook. This high energy eclectic duo artfully blends together these different worldly styles to create a fresh new sound. \n\n\n\nThe Cajun Strangers are one of the Midwest's premier Cajun music dance bands. "Born out of their love for Louisiana porch music\, the band performs Cajun and Zydeco dance music with unbridled energy and contagious enthusiasm that's more than enough to entice the most sedentary patron to rise up and shake what their mama gave'em." In the middle of the afternoon\, Mal-O-Dua and The Cajun Strangers will play a song together for a few of Three Gaits students and some of our equine partners to show off some of the skills they have learned in lessons in a musical freestyle performance. \n\n\n\nWhat about the food trucks?\n\n\n\nLets Eat Out! food cart coalition was formed in August of 2012. Today the coalition is comprised of more than a dozen locally owned and operated food carts. \n\n\n\nThe day of the event Lets Eat Out! and participating food trucks will donate 15% of their profits to Three Gaits\, so eat up!
