Join Oregon Middle School for Their 1st Annual Arbor Day Tree Planting! Planting will occur this Friday (tomorrow) in our newly designated school forest from 8am - 3pm. The 7th grade science, and 8th grade Tech ed classes will be planting 1,000 trees in our school forest at Oregon Middle School. Seventh graders will be using the Arbor Day plantings as data for future study. This is an exciting day for Oregon Middle School.
We will have two different times for tours of the OMS facilities - 1:45pm and 2:15pm. Tours will last between 30-45 minutes and will be lead by the 8th grade science teachers: Nate Mahr and Tim Paneitz. Highlights of the Tour include school forest, school garden, solar panel, compost bins, composting/recycling in school cafeteria
