Mindful Games for Kids
Mindful Games is a fun and supportive way for children in grades K-5 to explore wholesome, interactive activities designed to cultivate present-moment awareness, reduce stress, and improve focus and empathetic awareness. Activities may include sensory exercises, mindful movement, kindness and collaboration, focused games, and creativity. This playful, mixed-age approach to learning empowers children to utilize social-emotional skills in real time while developing lifelong healthy habits of the mind. This class is open to all children without any previous experience! Each class will be a different set of activities, so sign up for all three! This class will be held at the Maitri Center for Mindful Living, located at 120 N. Main Street in Oregon, WI. Taught by Kelly Petrie. Grades K-5. Fee: $32.
