Optimists Spring Kite Fly-In

Up! Up! And away with winter – Let’s Celebrate SPRING!! Bring your friends and family of all ages and abilities to Anderson County Park on Sunday May 5, 2024 from 1-3 pm to fly a kite! Whether you bring a box kite, compound kite, delta kite or one that looks like a dragon – it’s still a kite that can dance across the sky in the cool spring breeze. You say you don’t have a kite? Well, no worries, the first 200 people can receive a kite for free. If you have problems flying a kite or want to learn more about flying kites, Wisconsin Kiters will be on hand to help.
