Play Ball! Author Visit
Joyce Westerman & the All American Girls Professional Baseball League: Play Ball! A learning event for adults. No registration required. During the 1940s and 1950s, thirty-seven athletic women from Wisconsin played professional baseball. One of these determined women was Joyce Westerman. In this presentation, hear Bob Kann, the author of Joyce Westerman: Baseball Hero, share stories about the Wisconsin women who played professional baseball.
