It's here! The Second Annual Oregon AlpacaFest: Celebrating All Things Alpaca is Sunday, Oct. 7 from 1-5 p.m. at Sauk Creek Alpacas, Oregon, WI.
Come meet the alpacas of Sauk Creek, watch fiber artists spin fleece into yarn and learn why these irresistible critters are so popular. Meet an alpaca and talk with local alpaca breeders to learn about farm design, diet, routine medical care, business planning and tax benefits, and processing fiber.
Get an early start on your holiday shopping. We’ve got twice as many vendors this year offering alpaca socks, yarn, rovings, teddy bears and felted hats, and Wildtree, wicker baskets and Spry Whimsy’s popular felted hats.
Be sure to “like” Annual Oregon AlpacaFest on Facebook or go to www.saukcreekalpacas for complete details or contact Lynne Johnson at 608.291.2131 or lrjohnson@mailbag.com.
The event is free and open to the public.
