Humans have connected with horses on a deeply personal and emotional level for centuries. Participating Dane County Libraries will attempt to study, understand, celebrate and honor this connection in the "Horse-Human Connection" speaker series with funding by Beyond the Page. Film: Unbranded at 5:30 pm Speaker: Karen Diegel at 7:00 pm Film Summary: This picturesque documentary traces how an intrepid group of modern-day cowboys ride tamed mustangs on an epic and breathtaking 3,000 mile trail from Mexico to Canada, to encourage others to adopt wild horses. ~ Violet LeVoit, Rovi Speaker: Karen Diegel is a registered therapeutic horseback riding instructor certified by the Professional Association of Horsemanship as well as a registered therapist with the American Hippotherapy Association. Karen currently works at an OT at Three Gaits, Inc.
