Lead Teacher

Villa's Childcare Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment, developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, and fostering the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to upholding our center's mission of providing high-quality childcare and education. The Lead Teacher will supervise and collaborate with assistant teachers, maintain classroom safety and organization, and build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers to ensure smooth classroom operations.
• Maintain clear and respectful communication with families and staff.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing standards, health, and safety regulations.
