The Village of Oregon is currently accepting applications and supporting documentation for the full-time position Senior Center Assistant Director. The position assists the Director with planning, programming, record-keeping, and day-to-day activities, and also includes building community relationships and advocating for the older adult population.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a salaried position with an annual starting wage between $67,516 and $77,168, depending on qualifications. Benefits include excellent health insurance, generous vacation and floating holidays, sick leave, holidays, and Wisconsin Retirement System.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should, at minimum, possess an Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Business Management or other relevant field of study, five years of related experience and two years of supervisory/management experience. Preferred education and experience include a bachelor’s degree, prior experience working with older adults and five years of supervisory/management experience.
Candidates should be able to handle a busy work environment, multitask on projects, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for authorized errands. Candidates must also be able to obtain Restaurant Manager Certification within six months of hire. Candidates must have the ability to pass an in-depth background check.
